Liz Phillips

Liz Phillips (CEO & Owner of Self Love Therapy LLC) is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the state of Massachusetts. She received her Masters in Social Work from Boston College & her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Quinnipiac University. Liz has worked with individuals in various settings including private practice, the hospital, partial hospitalization programs, & inpatient psychiatric facilities. She has extensive experience in working with eating disorders, grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, crisis, adjustment to life threatening illnesses, & life transitions. While she has worked with all age groups, her specialty is young adults.
Liz believes in bringing transparency, authenticity, & a little humor into the therapeutic space. Liz’s clients know how much she loves and deeply respects the work done in therapy together. Liz believes that therapy should be a space for clients to express their truest self & feels that creating a safe and supportive environment is the best way to ensure this.
Liz places a strong emphasis on her therapeutic relationships so that her clients feel respected, appreciated, & understood.
Liz utilizes various treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Grief Counseling, Client Centered Therapy & Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. She incorporates mindfulness & relaxation techniques to best support clients. Leslie Goodhue
Leslie Goodhue is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Massachusetts with over 8 years of experience working in a variety of settings with all ages. She works to help individual clients cope with a range of concerns such as life transitions and everyday stressors to trauma, grief and loss. Despite working with all age groups, her specialty is young adults.
Leslie obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work at the University of Maine and went on to get her Master's in Social Work at Salem State University.
Leslie approaches each client from a strengths-based perspective and utilizes cognitive-behavioral (CBT), mindfulness-based, and solutions-focused therapies. Creativity, humor, flexibility, and compassionate care are important to her.
Leslie excels at creating a safe and accepting environment to meet the unique needs of each individual in a respectful manner.

Kat Thompson

Kat Thompson is a Licensed Certified Social Worker with experience helping all age ranges address challenges and adapt using healthy coping strategies. She is passionate, empathetic, and creative in finding individualized treatments for her clients. Kat specializes in anxiety, depression, eating disorders, PTSD, trauma, and major life transitions.
Kat completed her Master of Social Work (MSW) at Simmons University. She has former experience working in a variety of settings such as inpatient psychiatric units, schools, and most recently a private counseling agency. This professional experience, coupled with her empathetic and personal approach, enables her to provide excellent guidance and support her clients are seeking.
Life presents us with a multitude of challenges and changes. Kat is here to help support you on your journey of past and present experiences to cope with difficulties and pave the way to a calm approach to life.

Brad Winter
Brad Winter is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) in the state of Massachusetts. He has worked in many different settings including outpatient clinics, partial hospital programs, inpatient settings, as well as an ECT clinic.
Brad graduated with his Masters from Wayne State University and prior to that obtained his Bachelors from Eastern Michigan University. He has extensive experience and training in working with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and bipolar disorder.
Brad will serve as Self Love Therapy's prescribing provider. He will be able to provide clients with medications to manage the symptoms of various mental health struggles they might be facing.
Brad’s goal as a psychiatric NP is to empower his clients to achieve their optimal mental wellness and quality of life. He believes in collaborating with his clients and their families to create individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs and preferences.

Educating clients on medication is of utmost important to Brad, as he wants to encourage and empower clients to understand their medications and their mental health. He also advocates for reducing stigma and increasing access to mental health services.
