Carrie Lo is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in Massachusetts. She obtained her Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Arts in Psychological and Brain Sciences from Washington University in St. Louis. Carrie has worked with individuals in diverse settings including higher education, non-profit community agencies, and private practice. Carrie has comprehensive experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, and BIPOC issues.

Carrie emphasizes the importance of building therapeutic relationships and addressing individual needs in her practice. She approaches therapy with authenticity, curiosity, and collaboration, aiming to create a space that fosters safety, trust, and a nonjudgmental atmosphere. With a client-centered and strength-based focus, Carrie is dedicated to build genuine connections with each individual, honor their expertise in their own experiences, and uplift them throughout their journey of exploring their authentic, holistic selves.

Carrie incorporates various evidence-based modalities in her practice, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), informed by each person’s individual needs. She strives to practice through the lenses of social justice, intersectionality, cultural humility, and trauma-informed care.

Carrie fundamentally aspires to empower individuals in their processes of navigating the human experience and its complexities. She recognizes that healing is not linear, that change can be uncomfortable, and she hopes to be a supportive guide through each person’s journey.
